Behind Her Eyes

by Sarah Pinborough

Not My Ink, but... wow.
I picked this up thinking it was just another domestic thriller. By chapter three, I suspected something was off. By the end? I was flipping back, muttering “what the hell just happened.”

The story…

Louise meets David. Louise kisses David.

Louise meets Adele. Adele is David’s wife

Louise gets caught in something far stranger than a love triangle…. I thought I had seen twists before but this…. this was unhinged in the best (or maybe worst?!?) kind of way!!!

Is it ridiculous? Maybe. Is it clever? Definitely.
The ending is so marmite it should come with a toast warning — you’ll either throw the book or shout “brilliant!” (I hovered somewhere between both.)

Absolutely worth a read!

💭 Best read when: You want to be taken for a ride and don’t mind suspending belief.
🎯 Recommended if you liked: Gone Girl, The Silent Patient, or just need a “WHAT?!” moment.
